MCBA Announcements

I pray each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday filled with gratitude, family, friends, and food.

Reminders for this week.

Saturday, December 4th, 9:30 am, the Women's Auxiliary will meet at Saint Phillips, Hamilton, Dr. Joseph E. Woods, Senior Pastor, for our Christmas Outreach Ministry. Ladies please bring your requested items and come expecting a great time. We begin at 9:30 sharp and you will be on your way before Noon. I promise! Continental Breakfast will be served. In honor of Christmas, you are welcome to wear a touch of Red, if you like.

Saturday, December 4th, 10:00 am, the General Baptist Convention of NJ will conduct a Board Meeting at Friendship Baptist Church, Trenton, Rev. John R. Taylor, Pastor. If you are a woman, please come to Saint Phillips, everyone else is invited to Friendship:-) Lunch will be served.

Dr. Ronald L. Owens, Pastor/Moderator, MCBA will conduct the planning meeting for our Semi Annual Session. All ministry leaders should come with their Semi Program completed for consideration. All officers are requested to attend. All MCBA members are welcome. There will be other announcements of interest at this meeting.

The Annual Workers' Conference is fast approaching (Jan 28-29). Please register now and get it over with. Once the holidays are over, the deadline will be facing you. Interested, email me for a digital copy of the Registration/housing form. The guest preacher this year is Dr. Frank Ray of Memphis, TN and a nationally acclaimed pulpiteer. If you have never heard him, you need to. If you have ever heard him, I don't need to say anything more. The Workers' Conference is an excellent op to bone up on your ministry skills, network with other ministry leaders like yourself and enjoy a relaxing weekend. Remember, register early.
